Oscar Escoto is the managing attorney of Escoto Law, PLLC. Prior to starting his own law firm, Oscar worked for the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), entering on duty through the Attorney General’s Honors Program. Oscar served as an Attorney Advisor in the Dallas Immigration Court and Houston Immigration Court. During this time, Oscar provided legal advice and drafted opinions for immigration judges. Oscar also worked for an immigration law firm in Dallas, where he handled complex cases and successfully represented clients in matters before the U.S. immigration courts, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and U.S. Department of State (DOS). Oscar has extensive experience handling complex immigration issues, and he has a thorough understanding of relief available to individuals in removal proceedings. Oscar has helped many people fight their deportation and has successfully fought to keep families together in the United States.
Oscar’s immigration experience also includes work with the National Immigration Law Center in Washington, D.C, Human Rights Initiative of North Texas in Dallas, and American Gateways in Austin.
As the son of Mexican immigrants, Oscar understands the sacrifices many make to have a better life. Now his focus is to serve his clients with the respect and attention every case deserves. Oscar has a proven track record of fighting to obtain justice for his clients and helping clients navigate the complex immigration system. Meighan Arce

Meighan is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
Meighan Arce is an Associate Attorney at Escoto Law, PLLC. Meighan is a highly experienced and skilled immigration attorney. Prior to joining Escoto Law, PLLC, she spent her entire legal career working on immigration matters for the federal government. Meighan became an Attorney Advisor for the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) through the Department of Justice (DOJ) Honors Program in 2018. She worked for the Dallas Immigration Court for over four years, where she provided legal advice on complex immigration issues and drafted decisions for U.S. Immigration Judges. In 2023, Meighan became an Assistant Chief Counsel for the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Dallas. As Assistant Chief Counsel, Meighan represented the U.S. Government in removal proceedings before the immigration court and provided legal advice to other ICE components. Meighan now utilizes her extensive experience working for the federal government to effectively represent her clients in removal proceedings, in matters before USCIS, and other immigration matters.
Meighan is the daughter of a Costa Rican immigrant, and she is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Costa Rica. Meighan went to law school with the goal of helping immigrants. After many years of federal service, Meighan is eager to use her experience to fight for you.

Elizabeth Parker is an Associate Attorney at Escoto Law, PLLC. Elizabeth is committed to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration law. With a passion for advocating for immigrants, Elizabeth approaches each case with dedication and empathy.
Elizabeth earned her Juris Doctorate from the American University Washington School of Law, where she focused on human rights and immigration law. During law school, Elizabeth worked as a student attorney with the American University International Human Rights Law Clinic and interned with the Executive Office for Immigration Review in Harlingen, Texas. Through these opportunities, Elizabeth gained valuable experience representing clients in removal defense and handling complex immigration issues.
